Hungarian born, Vancouver-based designer, Hajnalka Mandula has established her company Mandula, nearly ten years ago. Her vision was to work with pure, natural materials and she's become one of the first designers to introduce certified organic textiles to avant-garde fashion. She continues to support the environment by incorporating recycled materials and found objects, such as rusted skeleton keys, bicycle inner tubes and vintage military finds. Garments are hand-finished to achieve individuality and a very high quality.  What is most obvious in Mandula's work is, that she stays true to her artistic vision, while thinking sustainable. Mandula has opened her debut boutique in Vancouver, Canada in August, 2006 and since then, she has introduced menswear to her collections.
